Flying in Cancun
 

Planning a holiday in Cancun next month.

Any suggestions on where to hire a GA aircraft with instructor (don't think JAR licence is valid for solo flight)?

Flown into Cancun several times and never seen an aeroclub but the FBO have always been helpful and an e-mail to them might produce something:

ASUR > FBO Private Aviation > Our Services

You could always try the microlight seaplane banner towing operation in the lagoon in the hotel area

I was there two years ago. The microlight crashed the year before. I dont know if they have replaced it yet.

I did not notice any GA in the area either. Though there was helicopter tours being offered from downtown.
