Listening to the radio the other night I heard the name "Eric Pickles" and it made me think of the "Billy Pickles" thread on here. Did you know that Eric Pickles is a Conservative MP with a 9000 majority who's constituency has become absorbed in a pagan cult? I couldn't believe it. Other Conservatives have grouped together and encouraged that chap in the white suit who's MP for Tatton to stand against him. All sounds very mysterious... Anybody out there who lives in the area who could share any interesting details..?

Pagan cult? Thought it was a bunch of Christian fundamentalists that had infiltrated the local Conservative party in Brentwood? They'll get all upset if you call them pagan - fire and brimstone and all that - just ask old_cross_bound in JetBlast for details :)

btw. Eric Pickles is the ex-Lord Mayor of Bradford, where he managed to upset just about everybody and made a mess of the finely-balanced race relations in that city.
