Hi there
Does any one have any gen on this recent design, from the pen of one Gene Smith. It's a side-by-side 2-seater,low-winged monoplane, taildragger with a 2100cc redrive VW,made out of tin.
Any gen appreciated.

Also sounds like the Smyth Sidewinder, except that was generally a tri-gear (I think).

Thanx,Wizzy
The Sidewinder is a different kettle of fish altogether.Incidentally, the same 'Winder seems to crop up in PopFly and Pilot every year.I read that it's hotter than average and scares lowtimers. The Smith Basic is a much tamer aircraft.
