Converting a Shadow...
 

hi folks
I need gen on the following,if you can.A Shadow of my acquaintance requires to be converted to accept a Rotax 582,instead of the old 447 it presently sports.It would also like to have the slipper tank grafted on.Has anyone any info/gen/experience on this one?

Your best bet for advice on this one is to Email the BMAA Chief Engineer, Guy Gratton on [email protected] , he's generally pretty good at these things.

Fiona and Raymond are definately the people to speak to about anything relating to Shadows. They have a wealth of knowledge built up over many years.

Good luck with the conversion, a 582 will certainly transform the Shadow, although I think the 618 is better.
