cowclipping

ouch..... Biplane Clips CowVideo

7AC 17th January 2009 14:00

The electricity pole had a near call also!

Ivor_Novello 17th January 2009 16:26

Poor cow :(

Peacefully grazing in a field when some idiot knocks you down with a biplane.
Truly a bad day at the office for the cow !!

effortless 17th January 2009 17:53

What were they doing? They depart the hard runway and land in a nearby field. EFATO?

FlapsFive 17th January 2009 19:03

Yeah it was an EFATO - can't find the AAIB report now, but from what I recall (if I'm not getting confused) the engine basically chewed itself to bits.

The number of idiots on the Daily Mail website where this was reported who were claiming it to all be the pilots fault, without even reading the fact that it had an engine failure!! (Don't panic, I only read some of the stuff on their website for the hilarious "journalism" and comments that people leave!)

Some people :ugh:

Don't worry guys, the cow was fine, if only a bit milk-shaken :}. The Tiger Moth's left wing took the brunt of it. AAIB report here.

But if ever an engine failure can be funny, this WAS funny!

Say again s l o w l y 18th January 2009 01:23

Eeek! Having an engine failure is one thing, clonking a cow another. Despite the bovine interface problem, that was a pretty good bit of flying!

Bravo Mike 18th January 2009 09:33

bovine interface problem
That's anudder way of looking at it.

vanHorck 18th January 2009 10:42

Muhhhrvelous bit of plane control

Cricket23 18th January 2009 20:00

see they only avoided the cow, but applying a serious amount of lef 'udder!

BRL 19th January 2009 00:25

"Mooooooove out the way!"

SoundBarrier 19th January 2009 06:43

I have "herd" of this before, but you guys are "milking" it this time. I think we should be more sensitive to the cows situation, I wonder if it "heard" the plane coming?

Chequeredflag 19th January 2009 08:55

Surely, could have blown it's horn!!

Fark'n'ell 20th January 2009 04:14

Methinks the cow was doing a hollyood so it could get the Tiger red carded for "fowl" play.

BRL 20th January 2009 10:23

I have herd it all now. You lot don't mince your words do you............ :}

Almost a nice steak off......... :D

Say again s l o w l y 20th January 2009 10:51

Was that a case of the unstoppable force meeting an immoovable object?

BRL 20th January 2009 12:13

Only pulling your leg!
Would that be the Calf part of the leg?

Sorry, scraping the barrel now I know!!)

Say again s l o w l y 20th January 2009 13:07

I think you need to ban yourself for that last one!

BRL 20th January 2009 16:33

Sorry, I know it was a bit of a misteak to include that last one....! :}
