I was under the impression that the instrument flying section was dropped if within 5 years of rating being expired.
One difference I noticed from my original test was the inclusion of a full power taxi to full stop, apart from that most of it was just like I remembered only less stressfull.

There is no 'instrument flying section' in the SEP Class Rating renewal LST.

The only variable would probably be that the Examiner would wish to see a reasonable VFR navigation element in Section 3A if the applicant hadn't flown much recently.

Test Format
 
the test format varies from examiner to examiner anyway so it is best to discuss what your examiner will be looking for in advance. The Nav element in my recent experience can be a full route and diversion or completely ignored independent of the five years.
