Black Bottle Challenge
 

Does anyone know if this still exists?
I remember it from a few years ago, fly to some of the island airfields and return to Islay (with proof of your exploits) and pick up your bottle of black bottle (If I remember correctly)

A wonderful jaunt around the Western Isles is was too.

I am afraid it has not be run for quite a number of years now following I guess the sponsors deciding not to support the event any longer.

That sounds like a great idea. Flying and bottles of stuff go really well together. Got to celebrate the success of a mission by drinking the fruit of your labour back at base that evening. Marrrrvelous!!!!
