Hi Max-DP, yes you need differance training, if you are a LAA member, why not use the LAA PCS Coaching scheme, plenty of coaches that can do the training on your aircraft with a VP prop.

Ta guys not for me so no idea what LAA is :O Just had a quick enquiry from a friend with no t'internet access so thought i would post
Cheers |
LAA is the new name for the PFA. The LAA has a regional coaching scheme were Instructors with appropriate experience carry out differences training etc in your own aircraft. I am one such Regional Coach.
It is just another option open to people to get this type of training as well as licence revalidation's etc carried out outside of the common school environment. |

Section 1 Schedule 8 Part B Section 2 of the ANO
a.k.a. page 240 of this .... http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAP393.pdf Basically the answer as others have pointed out, is yes ...diff training. What you'll never be able to do, even with further instruction, can be found a few pages prior... Section 1 Schedule 8 Part A Section 3 of the ANO (p. 235) ... No night, no IMC etc. .... Happy flying ! :ok: |
