Hi all,
Can anyone help? What is the max crosswind component for a Jodel D150. Thanks

Have you looked on Jodel.com?

There are some Flight Manuals (original and translated) to be found there.

Sorry to be so unhelpful but are you sure it actually has one?

I'm not sure all older planes do...

Hi , try the jodel group on Yahoo, failing that PM me as there are 2 at my strip and I think one of them has a manual.

Will.

The Tiger Club have a D150 on fleet - you could always phone them up and ask Glyn (the manager).

Speaking of cross winds...what an awesome landing the pilot made on the news at Leeds Bradford today! Looked like a demanding final approach. Should have come out of my door to watch it
LBA is always good for crosswinds seeing that the main runway is aligned the wrong way:) Any video link?

Yeh follow this link and click on the video in the top right named 'High winds overturn lorries' watch the full video
Thanks, that crosswind was certainly in the "sporting" range, a nice bit of handling:)

Back on topic....

I do not have a manual for a Jodel 150 to hand but for a Jodel 1050 the maximum demonstrated take off and landing is 10knots. Maximum demonstrated taxi is 20 knots.

Quite correctly, as it is a 'demonstration' not a limitation, the data appears in section III "Handling' of the flight manual.

I can not imagine the 150 will be much different.

Hope that helps.

What is the max crosswind component for a Jodel D150.
I think you will find that the figure published is the Maximum Demonstrated Crosswind i.e, its the maximum figure to which the aircraft was tested during certification and is not the maximum crosswind that the aircraft can be landed in and is not listed as a Limitation.
