ppl licence application

maybe a silly question but.. on applying for a licence and sending the documents off to the CAA there is no mention of any photos required for the issuing of the licence. My question being, do I need to send some photo's off with my application?

I've held a CPL/FI for around 5 years and was never asked for a photo, so unless things have changed ( should tell you on your PPL application check-list ) I do'nt think you need one.
Easy way to check is have a look at CAA website then type in Lasors.

Also theres no such thing as a silly question, you will learn that if you are moving onto ATPL's.

Thanks for the help. There was no mention of photos on the application form but was unsure. Ill check the LASORS though just to be 100%..

I recall having to send my passport with my application.
