Just what a fly-in should be. Friendly and fun with a superb turn-out of widely assorted aircraft The sausages were great, the trifle even better and the tea flowed freely.

The slightly ad-hoc nature of the flying displays (but certainly nothing less than highly professional), the model flying and music that kept us entertained in between were fabulous. Shame about my luck in the raffle.

And all in a good cause.
