Tel no's

Does anyone knowof a telephone number you can call for danger area activity etc in advance of a flight.

Thanks in advance.

How about the nearest ATC tower to the danger area...

Pretty sure there's not a number for all.

Or even look on the Notams?!

Many Danger areas are along way from any ATC, as for the notams they dont give specified times of operation specific to danger areas.

In the UK the telephone numbers and freqs are listed in the AIP - available on-line (do have to register but it's free).

Again in the UK, several Danger Areas have contact numbers printed in the legend at the bottom of CAA 1/2 and 1/4 million charts:

D012, D013, D014, D020, D021, D026 & D031; D036; D123, D124, D125, D126 & D128; D130

In the UK you can ring the AIS information line for a pre recorded brief on TRA's (or is that RA(T)'s now?!) and restrictions of flying. Whilst not an exhaustive brief it is good practice to call it alongside checking applicable notams.

the number: 0500 354 802

hope this helps

Lomocovack's in France so might be using French or Jepp charts for the UK, hence his question!
The listed numbers on the CAA charts are as follows*:
D003, 004, 007A/B, 008/A/B, 012-014, 017, 021, 023 026, 031 Plymouth ops on +44 1752 557550
D006/A Culdrose Ops +44 1326 552201
D007 St Mawgan Ops +44 1637 872201
D036 Plymouth Mil +44 1752 557751
D123-126, 128 Stonehenge +44 1980 674710 or 674730
D130 AIS Heathrow +44 208 745 3451
* Got the above from the chart I keep at work, which is a couple of years old, so the above info is not necessarily current

If you are using Jepp/French chart by the way, watch out for airway N866 which is a Class A airway from (approx) NEDUL to ORTAC FL35+ and not shown on many charts that I've seen
