Extra 200

I am looking for an Extra 200. Does anyone know of someone who has one that might like to sell it?

Thanks very much - sorry, didn't mention we're looking for a 2 seater!

A nice aircraft and in some ways more pleasant to fly than the 300, the smaller engine is OK for solo aerobatics but with two people in the aircraft the lack of power becomes much more apparent.

PS I know of a very nice 300 for sale.

Just for clarification,

Anorak mode ON...

The (2 seat) Extra 200 is a derivative of the carbon fibre sparred EA300L, recently introduced by Walter Extra, presumably to offer more affordable aerobatics (in terms of running costs) than it's larger brother.

The Extra 230 (from !!!!'s weblink) is Walter's original wooden winged aerobatic hotship from the 1980's, though still with the +10/-10g capability. It has not been in production for some time.

Anorak mode OFF :)

Not much of an Anorak mode if you think that the 200 has been 'recently introduced'...;)

Al,

You sure you want a 200? I fly competition in my 300S and delivered a 200 last spring. I know it's more $$$ but the up lines in a 300 sure cause a 200 to pale in comparison. Load up two folks in that 200 and it's limited to Sunday gentlemen aerobatics only.
Just something to think about........

With the good Dollar rate, I would seriously think about buying a 300 or 200 in the States and importing it. Both are great aircraft, obviously the 300 has more guts both solo and 2 up, but also creates bigger bills. There are a couple of mid wing 300's on Barnstormers that look good value!

Greeners...
Depends on your definition of "recently". Compared to the 230 and the original 300 shoulder wing...
Yes, I really am that old! :{ :{
