The other one (which I think has killed?) is seat adjustment latches failing on rotation leaving you sliding backwards pulling the nose up as you go.
Good point. I recently flew a 172 which had a ratchet thingy fitted on the front seat detent to stop it from sliding backwards. I had this happen to me but on a car not an airplane--admitedly it was in less than pristine condition :E
