Elmsett Fly-in

Bit late notice but I've been working very hard! (Stop laughing, Aerbabe!)

Fly-in Wings & Wheels- type event tomorrow at Elmsett (EGST). PPR please, and brief well on the joining procedures due to the close proximity of Wattisham. Wattisham ATC will be closed but the ATZ remains active with gliding & Police & SAR helos.

Be there or be...somewhere else!

Went. Not many spectators but a nice event and the weather held out. Bit of a cross wind made it interesting. Just a shame more aircraft didnt come in for the 'fun' elements - flour bombing, spot landing, breakfast patrol etc.

I think the wx & threat of storms made a lot of people stay away, both spectators & a/c. It was pleasant, though. I did a rough count before I left & there were 100-or-so movements throughout the day. Thanks for coming.
