Nice article, Whirlybird....

on the EC135 in October's Today's Pilot.

You are getting to fly some mighty fine hardware, Ma'am.

QDMx3,

Thank you; I'm glad you liked the article.

I couldn't quite believe it myself when I was told there was this 3 million quid helicopter waiting at Oxford for me to fly; it's not very long ago that I was excited at simply getting to look over an EC135 on the ground!

All I need now is enough money to buy one....not that I'm greedy or anything. :)

(Just flying and writing about a few more types will do though - any offers?)

I liked the other one too - I've heard of vortex ring, but never knew what it was - now I do!

Thanks Whirly!

PS, when you get your EC-135, can I come for a ride?

Make sure you buy one with ambulance fit - perfect for fly-ins!

Stretcher to sleep on and oxygen bottle for the hangover in the morning...

Managed to wangle an Apache sim...that one's supposed to be published sometime. But the real thing would be even better. :ok:
