JAR compliant PPL?
I'm considering going to the USA to do a PPL with www.ukft.com. They offer a JAR compliant license which they claim is accepted in the UK and Europe but I have been able to find very little information about it. Could anyone please enlighten me? Is this license really as accepted as they say? Is it easy to convert to a JAA license?

I know nothing of the flight school.
But I think you might be getting a little confused on the terminology. A JAR & a JAA licence are actually the same thing. JAA (Joint Aviation Authority) set rules which they call Joint Aviation Regulations (JAR). The licence with is issued by the JAA, under JAR's sometimes gets called a JAR licence, and sometime a JAA licence, depending on who's speaking! Hope that helps to clear it up for you! dp |
