Hi all,bit of a shot in the dark,but worth a try!
I need to get from the east (Hull ish) to the west (Hereford/Ledbury) tomorrow... Or even part of the way (Manchester ish)since public transport is completely useless.
110 hr ppl/night,lapsed but still useful,so more than willing to help and contribute towards a bit of fuel. Need to pick up car of all things.

Hello.

I qualified with my fATPL last year and have been trying to get some work flying but with no such luck (bad times). I am looking into getting flying again (good times) and would really appreciate it if someone fancied some company in their plane, just so i can get back into the swing of things before i go up with an instructor.

Ideally I would like to fly from Blackbushe or Fairoaks, being that these are my closet airports, I am happy pay for landing fees and food etc.

PLH-NQY September 2nd?
 

We are two aviation enthsiasts that collect UK airports and have tickets to fly EDI-PLH and PLH-NQY-DUB with Air Southwest (before that airline is history). However, the Royal Navy goes on leave every summer and closes their radar at HMS Drake which was an opportunity that Eastern Airways seized to close Plymouth earlier than planned. The result for us will be a no count at PLH, as we arrive from NQY by bus on the evening of September 1st and depart in the next morning by bus again to NQY.
We would still like to have a take-off and landing there, so if anyone could be of help and happens to be flying out PLH in the early morning of Friday September 2nd ...

Finally managed to get a slot and have 2 seats available from Rochester to Dunsfold (in a 180HP 172). Have to go early and not allowed out until airshow is finished - so all day visit. By flying in to the show, admission is £10 each rather than £22 on the door. Anyone local enough that would like a seat pm me.

The cost are exceeding the enjoyment on your own and the next step is microlight flying which I do not want to do unless I have too.
