Rude Reggies

This months copy of Flyer features a C172 demonstrating the new diesel engine with a reg of F-OKAF.

A gallic joke perhaps. Is this revenge for G-ZIZI.

G-NADS was in the hangar at RAF Halton on Sunday morning, it looked the dog's b:mad: s too !

EastMids 8th July 2004 13:21

There is also G-PUSI a Cessna T303

Mike Cross 8th July 2004 14:49

And of course these two pictured at Compton Abbas last year.
(I confess to being the driver of the nearer of the two)

A Dornier Seastar: D-ICKS

The pilots got a lot of flak on the freq for that one...... :D

Viggen 8th July 2004 16:54

Barton has G-ASMS which always makes me think "OR-" ... (or is that my twisted mind?)

ACW 335 8th July 2004 17:07

There used to be G-SPOT floating around - but i believe that was destroyed and the registration removed IIRC

Floppy Link 8th July 2004 17:10

Not exactly rude, but G-BUFY operates from Denham. Also, Cabair used to have a Piper Dakota G-TART. I think it now lives at Goodwood. I am currently flying G-BOTI from Blackbushe.

paulo 8th July 2004 18:52

Here's the registration thread :)

AerBabe 8th July 2004 20:47

Hardly rude, but D-EADD was parked up at North Weald for a few days this week. :ooh:

PH-UKU 8th July 2004 22:35

There was an Air Canada B767 C-FUCL, don't know if it had a sister ship.

Smurfjet 8th July 2004 22:48

G FUKM on a gazelle helicopter is a good one

treadigraph 9th July 2004 22:34

G-ONAD used to be a C421, and I recall a C404 or similar, G-KENT - those who remember Anna-Marie Ash's infamous spoonerism (corrected to Kent Countryside for those who missed it) on the ITN local news a few years ago might enjoy a wry grin.

G-KENT - PPRuNe Pop, was that ever one of yours?

Having disallowed G-BFUC, G-BFUK, etc, how on earth did the CAA let G-FUKM slip through?

javelin 10th July 2004 18:29

Or indeed, one of our old DC10's was originally OY-CNT !

Cat.S 11th July 2004 11:23

Saw G-TART at LPL a couple of years ago. Apparently the former owner had been a Page 3 girl!
