PPL Revalidation - Advice?
Hello,
Looking for some advice. For a few reasons, I’ve not flown for about 8 years now and I am finally back in a position to revalidate my licence. I attained my PPL at the age of 18 and in the space of around 2 years logged about 200 hours in command. I’ve contacted a few schools in the South West area and they advise it’s just a case of flying with an instructor until competent and then a test again. Obviously the theoretical knowledge has slipped to the back of my mind since I last flew. Before I take lessons again and short of studying every single theory book, what can I do to revise the vital knowledge needed to go into the lessons prepared again and not need countless hours of ground school to cover the basics again. Any advice recommended? Or do I really need to go into the full detail again and refresh myself on the Chicago convention backstory lol |
