Insurance suggestion for a G-pa28

I'm about to take delivery of a new (to me) PA28 on UK register.

Any of you can recommend a good insurer?

Visicover worked well last time I owned an aeroplane myself.

I've just transferred my insurance to "Flycovered" at half the price of the previous company. This is because the main policy is for ground risks only with the online ability to notify them of flying days at less than £20 per day. Cover is essentially identical to previous policy but the saving comes from my plan to reduce my total hours this year for the obvious reason.
They also have the more normal "full" cover available.

Bottom line is shop around. Over the last four years I've had my Archer insured through Haywards, Traffords and Visicover. The issue is not the broker as much as the fact that the worldwide GA insurance market has reduced to a handful of underwriters who are all consulted by the same brokers.

I have no issue with any of the above companies but I like Visicover for their transparency and ability to tailor cover on their website. I did try 'Flycovered' but they refused to even quote as I'd had an incident involving a claim within five years. None of the other companies are bothered about it.

Another vote for Visicover. When we started with them, we'd had a claim which didn't cause a problem. I had some shuffling of cover between aircraft to do last Winter. Normally Visicover will only deal with e-mail and on-line inquiries. However, a few minutes after submitting the request for cover, I got a phone call from an extremely helpful lady who saved us some money by suggesting a different request. Worked really well. However, premiums have gone up quite a bit. We're now paying £4,200 for any pilot, including flying training for a PA28 insured for £90k. They will even insure us for our pilots aged over 74, we just have to name them.
