Belgium moving to 8,33

See attached pdf. With only one exception, it all amounts to keeping the same frequency but moving from a 25 kHz channel to its 8,33 equivalent.

Did the Belgian NAA arrange for you all to have a rebate on the costs of upgrading your radios? The UK CAA worked very hard for us, made it slightly less painful, we got hundreds of £££s back.

I did not want to start an argument, least of all the same argument over and again. I was merely offering information that might be useful to some.
That said: no, I never heard of such an initiative over here. Mind you I never clamoured for such a thing either, having got used to stupid authorities issueing stupid laws and rules.

They didn't put our beach airport frequency on the list. :(

:) Because you're not 8,33 compliant yet? What a shame!

Seriously, though, you know better than I that it is notammed.

We've been asked to be 8.33 compliant for next edition. Off goes our base station to Icom!
