If you are in training you'd be better saving your pennies for the flying, some "budget" brand passive headsets or a second-hand DC would probably serve you best, when qualified you can go for one of those fancy 800 quid jobs if you so desire.
I still have my cheapo £50 passive HS I bought when training 10 years ago. I had to fix a loose wire last year, the noise attenuation is good (better than other more expensive HSs I've flown with), reasonably comfortable and fairly durable. No issues with my hearing yet... |
