Banner Towing Scotland Central Belt
Anyone still do it, I recall a Cub picking up banners years ago from a farm strip just north of GLA but not seen any banner towing for years?

George Cormack, owner of Cumbernauld and Thornhill airfields used to do/organise banner towing.

Concur. George is the man to talk to.

Thanks, think that's the chap who used to do it from the farm strip north of GLA, I've passed this info on.

are in Blackpool and have come up to Strathaven to fly banners. They came up for the Scottish referendum to fly a banner for the Union campaign. I think it said: Scotland Better in Union My 85-year-old mother (my father once stood for the SNP in the 1960s) only saw the first two words and told the young organiser: What a wonderful idea! He was a young gentleman, but wise enough not to try and correct an old lady!
