RT Tapes or RT Manual??

Hey there,
I just ordered myself the RT Manual from Transair for ease of taking notes when studying.

I do have the RT tapes which I’ve listened too, but a guy saying "five is pronounced 'fife'" started to bore me and I figured that I wouldn’t be able to take notes very easily from the tape.

I was just sitting here with nothing to do and wondered, how many people found the tapes easier? Or vice - versa?

:D Happy landings :D

I used both - read through CAP413 taking notes, then listened to the tapes a few times in the car on the way to work. The tapes I've got are OK but there are bits that are either wrong or need more detail - certainly wouldn't recommend using them on their own.

edit: oh, and you may struggle with the RT Theory exam if you haven't read CAP413 carefully - there were some rather obscure questions in mine...
