Gardan GY100 Import

I am trying to determine if I should keep an aircraft bought in France on the French reg or change it to "G". Anyone flying an "F" reg in the UK out there who could give me some advice. I have thought about registering it in the UK but it would be first of type and there appear to be some major hurdles to overcome.

If the type has no UK approval, then almost certainly it's easier and cheaper to leave it on the French register. If you've got a very definite need to put it on the UK reg, drop me a private Email and I'll let you know who to get in touch with at the UK CAA about it.

French Register

Not sure if it is of any use, but I think there is an Auster operated on the French register, which pops back once a year to revalidate. I suggest you give the Auster Club (01363 83687 Sales Manager I think!) a call.

Hope it helps!:)
