I got my PPL in Poland and to check for danger, restricted and prohibited areas I would use amc.pansa.pl where there's an interactive map to have a visual outlook of the situation.

Is there anything similar on an European scale? Otherwise where could I find such information?
I am thinking of doing some hour building around Europe, maybe here in Germany for the time being but I realized I don't know where to look for it here and in other EU countries.

Just to make it clear, I know there is Eurocontrol website where I can get all the NOTAM, I was just wondering if there's a more "graphical" solution.

Apps like 'SkyDemon' and similar will graphically show you D/P/R zones as an overlay on the charts, and also alert you if you're flying close to them. Of-course this requires a subscription, and a iphone/android/ipad in the flight-deck with you.

Other than that, I suppose it would be good practice as a VFR pilot to have an up-to-date chart of the airspace you're flying in. Here in the UK, there listed with co-ordinates on the NATS website, along with operational hours, relevant freq. for information etc.

There are free options in the UK (Skydemon Light - ground use only; Airspace Aware - free and works in the air but no NOTAM). Not sure about other countries though.

For Germany, the DFS (Deutsche Flugsicherung) have a "graphical solution" (ie a map) which shows the current NOTAMed areas. You can enter your flight plan route and it will show everything within a certain range on the map.

When you log into the site, choose "Flight Preparation" from the menu at the top, and then the VFReBulletin option.

You have to sign up for a login, but it's free (with a German address, anyway).

Unfortunately there is nothing like the fabulous pansa.pl for all of Europe. There are some local AUPs though, for example Germany publishes the AUP via military under https://www.milais.org/aup.php and NorthAviMet does similar for Scandinavia and Finland.

A word to moving map solutions, I know none really showing all NOTAM and AUP data, so beware on relying on that. Do not mistake AUP data with NOTAMed areas, not all used airspaces in all countries are activated by NOTAM! As a consequence, don't trust electronic solutions solely on that so far! Present prominent example is i.e. German ED-R 150, which is a strange animal, as the existence of the, currently mainly night, flying ED-R routes is laid in general AIP, but data is published in MIL-AIP !!! Jeppesen MFDVFR at least shows the complicated structure, which is laid all over Germany and up to 7,500ft, but does not signal which segments are active, while Skydemon ignores the difficult structure all together and is therefore not suitable to be used as solution at least for NVFR for now - it shows a rather useless huge red circle for the respective activation NOTAM, but that is more dangerous than helpful. Similar things hold for France, but less dangerous as the French traffic services are much more relaxed to help you.

The PANSA display is indeed very good, not only as a display but most importantly as front end for a proactive & integrated airspace management system. Therein lies the problem, achieving the same level of dynamic presentation, integrated right across the ECAÇ area is a bit of a way off!

From my experience there is no one size fits all solution here. All countries manage their airspace differently.
Some don't even publish AUP's and instead rely exclusively on NOTAM's for airspace management.

There are however many solutions to make your flight planning an easy task and make sure no F-16's show up on your wing.

For NOTAM info in most of Europe you can use notaminfo.com

This is a 3rd party site that basically draws area NOTAM's and displays it as a google maps overlay, I still recommend checking for NOTAM validity directly from official sources but this makes it much easier to figure what is relevant and what is not.

And you are in luck, for your relevant area of flight (Poland, Germany and Czechia) all countries publish really good AUP's with graphical interfaces.

Another solution can also be Austria's AWESOME home briefing site (Not free) as they not only have a collection of sites for nearby countries as they also give you an option to get a "narrow route briefing" where basically you tell them your route and it automatically gets NOTAM information for your specific route plus a buffer each side (5 or 10 miles, as you prefer).
