Lapsed PPL(A) and SEP renewal cost question
Learned aviators,
I am hoping that someone in the know can help answer my question regarding PPL renewal. The situation I'm in: JAA PPL(A) which expired May 2013 SEP(L) which expired Mar 2012 In the last month I have got a new medical and flown a proficiency check with an examiner. I am therefore about to send off a SRG1104 (JAR-FCL to EASA license conversion) and a SRG119C (for SEP class rating renewal) along with all supporting documentation. My question is; what do I need to pay the CAA? I know license conversion is currently £72. Is it just that? Or do I pay a class rating renewal (£88)? Or both? Or some other fee? I have emailed the CAA to no avail, and I find their online list of charges rather awkward to decipher. Any help from people with experience would be greatly appreciated! jkots |
The examiner should have signed your class rating renewal. As you have a valid class rating all you require from the CAA is the EASA licence Cost £72. Make sure that you have Level 6 ELP or complete the SRG 1199 as well.
