Getting my foot in the door
 

Good Evening!
My Name is Nicholas, and I am currently active duty United States Coast Guard. I am pursuing a career in aviation, and will be separating from the USCG in a couple of months. Right now I am working on my PPL, and I'm trying to get more familiar with the industry, and hopefully some time in the air! I would love to help anyone with any maintenance they need done, or if they would just like a flying partner. I am located in the SF Bay Area, and I am happy to drive all around, and willing to help in anyway. Thank you very much for your time!

I should mention that the majority (although not all) of the posters here tend to be Brits or English speaking Europeans, so there may be other US based forums where you might get a better answer to your specific questions.
