PPL pilot logbook suggestions

Hi folks,

I am looking for suggestions on a suitable pilot logbook for someone who will not be going on further doing CPL or ATPL. It seems the one on offer at the training school is big and more geared to the guys that are making a career in flying.

The one or two that I have seen more suitable for PPL did not have much option for FI signature near each entry.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

I would suggest this one:

I'm still using a Pooleys commercial logbook that I bought 20 years ago - works a treat.

That said, lots of people seem to like the Jeppessen products.

The basic Pooleys Pilots Flying Logbook at £9.95 is really adequate. And you can buy a nice leather cover for it, too, if you wish. Each logbook will probably record an average total of 500 hours flying, so for the average PPL, even the first will last a long time. Once you buy number two, just transfer your nice leather cover......

I'm well through no. 3, always the basic book the local flight school was selling. Why would each entry need an FI Signature? On Check Flights, the Instructor writes across a line. Not something which often occurs. As a PPL, you are responsible for recording your flights.

Some countries require signatures from the instructor. I don't have it handy at the moment, but I recall my FAA logbook being signed a lot!

Guys thank to all for the help it's appreciated, the training school I am using the FI signed each entry until you are certified.
The one on offer there is reasonable size Jeppessen but think I will look at the basic Pooleys.
Again appreciate the help.
