Thames Valley Avoidance area, detailed Map and description, please

OK. The information I have so far is it covers "Greater London" but NOTAMs talk about it going out as far as Wokingham ! I did find a map of it on a Mil low flying Website but it didnt appear to follow Control Zone Boundries.

So, does anybody know the rules for the Thames Valley Avoidance area and have a link to a detailed map of it including confirmation that its height is 2000 feet AMSL.

Thanks

ENR 6.5.1.2, the legend defines military low flying for jets as below 2,000' agl.

Applies to military aircrew only, not private pilots.

All class G airspace apart from Brize Zone, but several ATZs there too. If you wish to transit, Benson, Brize or Oxford are the ones to talk to.
As mentioned above, it has the same status as a MATZ for a civil pilot.

chevvron, with respect, I think you are getting confused with the Oxford AIAA.
cpl4hire was asking about the TVAA.
Benson, Brize and Oxford are outside the TVAA. (And Oxford is civil…!). Take a look at this chart...

Ah see what you mean. Yes I was confusing it!

If you look at the legend on the map, it means that it's an area that military aircraft avoid, so no significance to civil aircraft.

Thanks to everyone for their input especially Prop swinger for the ENR 6.5.1.2 Ref. to a detailed Chart.

Not seen that for a while! I know Sally's Tits as a pair of pointy hills north of Welshpool. And 'X' (Piss off Biggles) was painted on the roof of a barn in Wales by a farmer fed up of low flying fast jets. Of course word got round and everyone out for a blast included the farm in their itinerary! I understand it even features in the Valley Hawk sim!
