Nice, lucky you!

If the paint scheme is original, the aircraft was the "steed" of the Sqn. Boss of East Midlands UAS. I occasionally instructed in that aircraft (but it was a quarter of a century ago).

Edit: Just checked... no, it's not the aircraft I was thinking of.

Hi, She's been repainted but still carries XX624 which is her original serial number. I am trying to build up as much history as I can so any info you have would be much appreciated

@foxmoth: with a nick like yours, it is disappointing to see you NOT flying a biplane!

As for my own pride and beauty: blackmagic

I normally fly these two more than any others:

No flying now though - they are both tucked up in the hangar for the winter.

Johnm, 'proper' aeroplanes have the little wheel at the other end. Like this....

And if you are not quick with your feet, the little wheel can be at the other other end! ;)

SSD,

Nice photo. Where is that?

My homebuilt CH750 STOL... love this thing. In the air in 100 feet or so, lands the same. Get me in and out of really tight spots. Planning on building amphibs for it next! :)

This is one of my planes:

I dare not show the other one here, as it would risk sending SSD into a tirade about spam cans.

I also regularly fly a friend's Cub like amateur built:

And from time to time, a very sweet amphibian:

Step, I know you're an ice-cool pilot (you keep telling us), but how did even you land that seaplane so it's balanced on an iceberg?
