Flying Schools near Durban SA
 

After a whole week of lessons cancelled because of the lousy weather I'm thinking of getting a few hours in while on holiday in December.
Has anyone any knowledge of flying schools in South Africa? preferably Durban because that's where we'll be for most of the time.
I'm flying a PA-38 here but I can't see any of those in the Durban schools.

Virginia Airport is just along the coast from Durban (a lot closer than Durban King Shaka in fact) and is a great little airfield. I can thoroughly recommend Virginia Flying School, though they don't have any PA38s.

I would suggest a couple of hours with them in a C152, or their PA28 if you want to stick to Piper.

Digressing somewhat--but if you are anywhere near Slellenbosch have a flight from there. One of the best settings i"ve ever seen.
