microlight licences
Apologies for this if it's common knowledge, but I'm intrigued.
Do you need a French licence for a French machine, UK for UK, German for German etc. - ie each time you change registration (jumping from one plane to another) you need to change licence? So used to JAA/EASA that this all seems a bit old fashioned? Thanks, Sam. |
You got it quite right dear Sam - microlights have nothing to do with EASA. So yes, my BE microlight license only allows me to pilot BE-registered microlights.
Old fashioned this may seem, but if I hear the PPL'ers comments about EASA I am not complaining. |
Ireland and France both accept UK NPPL (M) class 2 medical required in France

France and Ireland only accept UK NPPL (M) on G reg microlights. France does not require a Class 2 medical.

Thank you, another of the million gaps in my aviation knowledge filled.
Have a great weekend, Sam. |
