Been reading the above replies with interest. I am an experienced tailwheel pilot and the owner of a taylor titch. I found the titch nicer to fly than I expected given it's somewhat bad reputation. As mentionned by others they need to be handled with care after gaining experience on a two seat pitts or an RV-8. Having flaps makes it have a much better view on landing than the Rollason Beta.
The really low aspect ratio of the titch's wing produces reasonably tame stall at a very high angle of attack. My aeroplane is the razorback version and has space behind the pilot for a small overnight bag.

Colliflier, just out of interest, how much runway does it need to be comfortable?

500m if you are in current practice. Best to have a bit more for your first few hours. The aeroplane will float if you come in too fast. Depending on the prop the take off is quite spritely. Mine has a C90 but most will have an 0-200.
