Thruxton Group Flying Opportunities?
 

Due to relocation a semi-retired ATCO with PPL/IMC would like to join a Thruxton based group with a touring class aircraft. Previously an EGHH group member.

I'm not particularly local down that way any more, but my experience was that it was one of those places where you really just need to go and browse the noticeboards over lunch.

Also, depending upon exact location and nature of your employment, look at Popham, Old Sarum, and the Bustard Flying Club at Boscombe Down.

Thanks G. I have looked at notes/posters etc but nothing seen as yet.

BD does not seem to offer a touring class aircraft. Living just south of Marlborough means Thruxton is my nearest.
