Kirknewton flying group - contact?

I'm looking to make contact with someone who flies GA out of RAF Kirknewton...

I'm interest in buying a part share or putting a group together to buy an aircraft to position there

Anyone have any contacts for folk who fly from/keep an aircraft there?

Checkout the Northern Aviators board, there is someone trying to put together a syndicate around a Sonex at Kirknewton.

There was, a couple of weeks back, a share in a Grumman AA5 available at Kirknewton. PM me if you would like the chaps email, I'm not sure if it is still for sale. There is also a C172 available for hire.

You need to be very committed to be flying from there.

I'd suggest that you go and walk the taxiway and then the main runway, before you get too far into your planning.

There are better airfields around. I know it's handy for Edinburgh, but jeez it is rough.
