Redhill Aerodrome under water.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the news of the Aerodrome being flooded. I worked there for thirty years and I cannot understand where the water came from. Has anyone any photos or any idea how it came about?

Here are some pictures showing the flooding on 24 Dec.

By 1430 hours the worst was over. http://i786.photobucket.com/albums/y...psfbf4f4af.jpg |
There are a fair few photo's in todays online Daily Mail ;

Sad pictures those from my local aerodrome EGKR. :{

One picture I saw showed an aircraft, presumably destroyed, with registration G-DBYE. Very sad.

Looked like a few blown around in the wind at Redhill too, from the photos.
