Florida weather
With a bit of air touring of Florida planned for the Summer I would appreciate some local knowledge of the likely flying weather between say late June through to August. I know it is the rainy season but I have heard the weather is often good in the mornings. What’s the likelihood of being able to get a couple of hours flying in most days and what’s the chance of getting stuck with the weather for more than a day or two?

Extremely hot - very sticky
Thunderstorm at 2-o-clock (local time)...ground will be dry again by 4 for the bar-b-que. Should be able to fly pretty much every day - unless one of those pesky little hurricanes comes along...then you fly the plane away before it hets here. |
Gone west,
Out of interest, how did you manage to move to florida and what are you doing there, I would love to live in Florida. |
Sky...
If you don't already live in Florida...how do you know you would like to?? Anyway - send me an e-mail, tell me who you are and what you want...then we can try to organise it for you. The board is not the place to do it.:) :) :) (Hope that doesn't sound as nasty as it reads!!). |
