I don't know any specific apps, but I find iBooks quite useful for holding information, for example:

If you have Excel or equivalent, it's not at all hard to create a spreadsheet to calculate w&b

I have a PA28-181 and on the iPad I use 'Aviation W&B' by Roy Kronenfeld - version 1.9. There is also Takeoff Calc HD by Randy Gawer - version 1.7.3 which is pretty good.

For critical situations I also refer back to the POH to make sure the results are comparable and acceptable.

It's integrated in SkyDemon. Why use a standalone app?;)

Anyway, I also have various W&B spreadsheets in the Apple ios spreadsheet. It's called "Numbers".

Yeah must admit I use the SkyDemon one too, especially since I figured out how to manually update the 'Acceptable Loading Envelope' so that it was meaningful.

I use WnB Pro v2.1 from Angel Development, once you understand the basics, it's easy enough, have set up a number of aircraft which I regularly fly and the sliders make everything so much easier to calculate.....
