BBC News - Two killed in Leicestershire light aircraft crash 15 July 2013 Last updated at 04:17 Two killed in Leicestershire light aircraft crash Two people have died after the light aircraft they were in crashed into fields in Leicestershire. The crash happened in Fenny Drayton at about 18:45 BST on Sunday, Leicestershire Police said. The two people on board were confirmed dead at the scene by an air ambulance paramedic. Inspector Luke Rusell said police were trying to find out where the aircraft had taken off from and where it was heading to. The scene has been cordoned off and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch are due to examine the scene later. Sad news, regards to their famalies and friends |
