York, Sunday 9/9/12
Evening Ppruners, a question out of curiosity. On sunday I was at the York races and mid afternoon noticed a large aircraft travelling at low level west to east, roughly aligned with the A64, could anybody tell me what it was please, it's appearance and the time are fuzzy in my memory as I was 'merry!'
Cheers, Jim:ok: |
Most likely the Vulcan, based at Robin hood airport and regularly flying around York, think it was flying over elvington that day, I sawa low flying aircraft in Harrogate on Sunday that I could of sworn to be a B1 bomber but saw it too late after I heard it and It was too low and far away to get a view of the Delta wing. Just google Vulcan and see if it was that!?

Vulcan
Cheers bandit, thought it might be but it was side on so I couldn't see the wings because it was so low!
Thanks, Jim:ok: |
BBMF was also there.
