Red Arrows On Radar

Just wondering what a typical Red Arrows display would look like through the eyes of ATC and their radar screens?

Anyone know of any videos etc on the web?

Not all that exciting really. Lots of blips zipping about in different directions and lots of blips close together. Sometimes the blips seem to stand still as the aircraft go straight up or straight down.

Interesting question. Just realised I wanted to know this as well! Forgive my ignorance, but would the controller get lots of nuisance 'separation' warnings with the aircraft so close to each other? Or does such a thing not exist?!

Resolved by having only the formation leader squawk.

I was once on a visit to the approach radar at RAF Wyton when the Reds were transittinmg nearby and the squawk (leader only) identified them on the radar as REDS making them hard to miss.
