Can one get thread update email notifications here?

I suppose RSS is another method. I tried that a few years ago here but the delivery formats were such that I had to open a browser to read them.

Control panel, edit options, default subscription mode.

Not sure if that's what you mean, but you can 'subscribe' to threads here. Just click on 'Thread Tools' and then on 'Subscribe to this Thread'.

Take care ... I stupidly had "subscribe to thread" on and went on holiday putting an out of office on my email.

It caused an awful lot of bouncing back and too until I got cut off ... and banned briefly for being a stupid boy.
