IMCR Application Cost

Hi

Does anyone know the cost of applying to the CAA for an IMCr to add to a PPL?
They seem to have dropped this from the April 2012 scale of charges :(
The cost prior to April will probably be good enough.

Thanks
W

Just got my IMC back yesterday, with a receipt for £93.00 Just fill in your Credit Card details, they will take the correct amount.

Interesting

The CAA in table 5 section D (initial application) for an instrument rating PPL is priced at £121.00 plus the £6.00 for postage.

Or is the IMC a variation to a licence so £89.00?

Just applied for my IMC as well so I guess I'm about to find out what happens when you do fill the price in

I was charged £93. I believe it was £89 fee plus £4 postage.

How they can justify charging £89 to print about 6 words on your licence though is beyond me!

Same for my Night Qualification and that's only about 10 words.

It must have increased recently?
I applied mid-March and it was £87. Was actually charged £93 which I assume was due to the courier return delivery of my logbook?

Madgav, I've just checked again and I made a typo! It was £87 + £6 postage...

My £93 total was right, I just typed £89 instead of £87! :ugh:

Easy

If you've seen the prices in the subsidized CAA canteen it's easy to see where it's going! That's a CAA worker's breakfast subbed for a year! Bloody good full English they do there though :ok:

Mine was £87 plus £6 courier fee in February. I was also confused about the fee so rang the CAA. They advised that £93 including the courier fee would be the fastest way to get the licence and logbook back.

Great, good to know we've all been stung for the same amount! :ok::)
