I seem to recall someone on here getting very good service from Garmin when they sent a dead unit back for repair. Why not try a main dealer like Harry Mendelssohn to see what they recommend.

Hi
I have one of these and think it is based on the Garmin Nuvi car GPS
you could try Halfords or anywhere that does car systems

That was me and their service was indeed outstanding. That said, this happened in the US, no idea what the UK situation is like. I'd call Garmin UK first and take it from there.

Garmin UK are usually very helpful.

Expect a fixed price repair that will probably give you a complete new unit in exchange.
