goFLYING has closed

Have I missed something??:confused:

Just wanted to check a route on this fab website and got the screen:

goFLYING has closed

I regret having to close this site without advance warning,
and sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Thank you for your support over the last six years.

Anyone know why/what happend??

PS: a search doesn't turn up anything, although I am 100% sure I learned about the site here in the first place.

You can find pretty much the same functionality at the site below, which is my code with some nice changes they've added on top. They've centered it on South Africa but it should still work fine in the UK, except that the flight planner's waypoint suggestion only contains SA waypoints.

did anyone have a luck with uploading a GPS log into a new web site - I am getting just error message ? I used goflying to add the nice colours showing actual height above ground. Looks to me the color coding was generated by goflying.org, not google earth itself - you can put lines between actual altitude and ground there, but they are pretty dense and not color coded...
