Where is CA48 on the CAA / AIS website?

Simple question. Hoping for a simple answer. Yes, it's possible to find the CA48.pdf file on numerous other websites, but a question that is bugging me dearly is why on Earth can one not easily locate it on the official websites? :ugh:

If it helps, it is included in CAP694 found at The UK Civil Aviation Authority

CAP 694: The UK Flight Planning Guide | Publications | CAA

In the introduction it states

The Civil Aviation Authority does not supply copies of the CA48 Form, as it
is becoming more common for FPLs to be submitted direct by electronic means and by fax.
An electronic copy of the FPL Form is available from www.ais.org.uk/aes/en/CA48.PDF.
So I guess they're just trying to move away from the actual paper form all together to stop a torrent of faxes.

Probably not made easy because they want us all to use AFPex these days.

Thanks but I read that to mean the CAA doesn't supply paper copies of the form. I did notice the embedded form but was looking for that nice separate PDF which has validation and some sort of checking built in. Also, the link in the CAP694 document is dead.

Did get around to registering for AFPex but doesn't help that there's a 72 hour turnaround! (well, I'm still waiting).

Thanks again
