I DID IT!!!
Did my first solo yesterday and just wanted to share that with you all!
I'm sitting at my desk now, but still at 800ft... |
Excellent Viggen, well done, there's nothing quite like that first time.... (flying solo that is). ;)
What aircraft did you use? |
PP - a Grob G115, G-BOPT, flying out of Barton. Lovely evening for it too!
|
Well done mate!
|
Congrats, Viggen!
Nothing quite like that feeling, is there..... Have fun! FFF ---------- |
Nice one. I like the Grob, especially one up. Two up and heavy getting off from Barton ca cause me to bite my nails (except I'm gripping the wheel and throttle tightly & willing it off the ground). just a tad more power would make it nicer, but I like flying it.

Congratulations, welcome to the brotherhood.
What model of Grob 115 was that. Couldn`t have been an `RAF` 115E. Mike W |
Well done Viggen. ;) Theres nothing your 1st solo - I remember getting to circuit hight so quickly without the instuctor next to me. Good feeling eh! ;)
|
Well done Viggen,
No stopping now - just leave your cheque book in the clubhouse! ;) :D |
Yeshazak!!!!! congratulations
|
excellent news!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D |
Well, well done. You are so very nearly there captain!
|
Skylark - almost identical to the RAF Grob "Tutor" - it's a G115, I think the only difference really is the slightly less powerful engine variant. Lovely little plane, now I've got the knack of landing it properly...
|
... I meant to say G115B
