PPL training duration
Hi,
Im looking to start my PPL training down on the South Coast of the UK next month. I'll be doing this full time, i was wondering what sort of duration I could expect. I fully understand that this is dependant upon things such as the weather and not least my abilities. However I was wondering if 3 months would be a good ball park figure. Im heading overseas for a few months in October and it would be nice to have this under my belt. Thanks |
Why you going to the south coast for good wx? The viz is crap down there.
The quickest I got someone through full time in Inverness was 2 weeks but he was quite gifted at doing exactly what he was told and arrived with all his exams out the way. 3 weeks is do able but hard, work 4 weeks proberly more sensible, 5 weeks perfect. |
I used to teach in the south, and as long as there is not constant fog for 3 months ;), it is definately possible.
My first 2 students were full time and they were done and dusted in 8 weeks. Enjoy your training. |
The exams are the big thing and how hard you are prepared to work .. doable

Not quite right with that time frame Cat 3C. I believe one of them overflew so subsequently "failed"
